Common questions
Voice mode doesn't hear me
Make sure CubeCoach can use the microphone and speech recognition: go to Settings → CubeCoach. Speak clearly and a little louder than normal. Background music or a noisy room can hide the command. You can always tap the screen to stop the timer instead.
What can I say?
In a Voice solve, say “Check” at the end of each stage (Cross, F2L, OLL) and “Stop” or “Done” when the cube is solved. A fourth “Check” also stops the timer. “Cancel” throws the solve away.
Do I need an account?
No. The timer, stats and algorithms all work without one. An account is only needed to back up your solves and use them on another device. Accounts use just a username and password. We never ask for an email address.
I forgot my password
On the Account screen, tap “Forgot your username or password?” and enter the recovery code from the recovery kit you saved when you created your account. We don't have your email, so we can't reset it for you without that code.
How do I delete my account?
On the Account screen, tap “Delete account”. This permanently removes your account and everything synced to it.
